Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Director to develop, implement, and oversee our digital marketing strategies and execution focusing on website management, email marketing, and data analytics. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of digital marketing channels to enhance our brand presence and drive business growth. This role will oversee the consolidation of all website management and updates under the Marketing and Communications team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure consistency across all owned digital marketing channels.
- Website Management:
- Oversee the design, content, and functionality of the company website to ensure it aligns with brand standards and provides a user-friendly experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
- Identify critical conversion and drop-off points and optimize user funnels.
- Monitor website performance using analytics tools, making data-driven decisions to improve site traffic and engagement.
- Email Marketing:
- Plan, execute, and measure email marketing campaigns to promote our mission, educational materials, support services and events.
- Segment email lists based on various criteria to personalize content and improve engagement rates.
- Analyze email campaign performance metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with email marketing laws and best practices, including data protection regulations.
- Data Analytics:
- Utilize web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track and report on website traffic, user behavior, and campaign performance.
- Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization across digital channels.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts.
- Prepare regular reports for stakeholders, highlighting successes, challenges, and actionable recommendations.
- Strategy Development and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with overall business goals.
- Manage budgets for digital marketing campaigns, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Stay abreast of emerging digital marketing trends and technologies, integrating innovative approaches into campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
- Agency Management:
- Under the direction of the VP of Marketing, lead project management of agency support across website, and direct email marketing to ensure effective strategic execution to drive brand objectives and results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on website management, email marketing, and data analytics.
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience managing agencies supporting digital, web, and direct marketing efforts.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including content management systems (CMS), email marketing software, and analytics tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong experience with marketing automation platforms and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Expertise in SEO/SEM strategies and best practices.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
- Certifications in digital marketing or related areas are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods at a computer in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

This role will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing and collaborate closely with the Communications team to support ZERO’s vision and goal of ending prostate cancer.
This remote position allows candidates to reside anywhere in the United States. Travel may be required about 5% of the time.
