Job Summary:

ZERO Prostate Cancer seeks a dynamic and results-driven peer-to-peer fundraising professional to lead and expand our peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives. The Manager, Peer-to-Peer Events Fundraising, will be an integral member of the Peer-to-Peer Events Team, raising funds to help prostate cancer patients through ZERO’s suite of endurane events including the ZERO Peaks Challenge and the Team ZERO Marathon Program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for our mission and the ability to inspire and motivate supporters to become effective fundraisers. 


Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed revenue targets to facilitate overall growth in P2P event fundraising
  • Develop and execute comprehensive peer-to-peer fundraising strategies that align with organizational goals for the following programs: Peaks and Team ZERO.
  • Implement and develop strategies to recruit, engage, and retain individual fundraisers through the different P2P programs
  • Serve as the daily contact and peer-to-peer fundraising coach for the Peaks Challenge and Team ZERO Endurance program. 
  • Responsible for the acquisition of new participants for the Peaks Challenge and Team ZERO Endurance Programs to maximize revenue and team participation
  • Responsible for analyzing data, KPIs, reports and demographics, and other data points necessary for the success of the ZERO’s Peer-to-Peer programs (Peaks, Team ZERO, etc)
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to fundraisers throughout their campaign (email, calls, text, etc.)
  • Enhance and provide new resources annually to the P2P program participants to ensure they have the tools necessary to be successful fundraisers
  • Develop a tangible sense of community and support within event teams and our growing nationwide network
  • Ability to recognize and analyze fundraising gaps, opportunities, and ways to close the gap to hit revenue goals
  • Ability to compile fundraising data that highlights key metrics for the programs and build upon the acquisition of new participants and events. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
 

Qualifications: 

  • 4-6 years of experience in peer-to-peer fundraising or development.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful relationships with event fundraisers
  • Mission-driven individual who wants to make an impact 
  • Strong multi-tasking skills to be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in peer-to-peer fundraising platforms (Luminate Online, TeamRaiser, etc.)
  • Experience with Raisers Edge NXT and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Social Fundraiser or Development Coordinator experience 
  • Prior experience within a fast-moving nonprofit organization.
 

Physical Requirements:
 

  • Constant use of a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as computer printer, calculator, and copier. 
  • The position requires a professional, quiet working environment free from background noise and interruptions, conducive to providing high-quality phone support to participants, donors, and stakeholders.
  • Prolonged periods of a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
  • The ability to recognize details at close range for extended periods of time.
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

This role will report directly to the Vice President, P2P Fundraising and Events and will work closely with the P2P Team and Marketing Team to support ZERO’s mission to improve and save lives from prostate cancer through advocacy, education, awareness, and support. 

This position is based remotely, and candidates may live in any area within the United States. This position will require nationwide travel approximately 25% of the time.
